On Saturdays and Sundays, there is a Highlights tour focusing on the Museum’s collection at 1:00 p.m. At 2:00 p.m., the public tour focuses on the special exhibition or spotlights an area of the permanent collection. Saturdays and Sundays Highlights Tour at 1:00 p.m. Exhibition/Spotlight Tour at 2:00 p.m. Tours are free with admission.

Educational consultant Dr. Tonya Leslie will explore the historical lack of diversity in children’s literature and suggest a framework for moving forward. This program is partially funded by a grant from the Delaware Humanities Forum, a state program of the National Endowment for the Humanities.

Glory of Stories introduces young visitors to art and the Museum through a story reading followed by an interactive tour of relevant works of art and a studio art project. This program encourages learning through discovery, exploration, and hands-on experiences. Ages 2 and up. Group tour reservations are required for groups of 10 or more children. Museum Performance: 12:00 p.m. Labyrinth Performance & Walk: 1:00 p.m. Join us as we “Walk as One at 1!” World Labyrinth Day is celebrated around the world on the first Saturday in May. It is a day designated to bring people from all over the planet together in celebration of the labyrinth as a symbol and tool for healing and peace. The Cathedral Choir will perform in the Museum at noon and in the labyrinth at the beginning of the walk at 1:00 p.m.
