Celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., through art and service in partnership with One Village Alliance and Raising Kings. Portrait Photography Monday, January 20 | 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. During the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service, add your portrait to a wall of photographs of our community. To complement the exhibition Posing Beauty in African American Culture, we are filling a wall of our entryway with portraits of our community members. 100 frames will slowly fill with photographs of locals, to add dimension to the portraits in the special exhibition itself. Glory of Stories
Glory of Stories introduces young visitors to art and the Museum through a story reading followed by an interactive tour of relevant works of art and a studio art project. This program encourages learning through discovery, exploration, and hands-on experiences. Ages 2 and up. Group tour reservations are required for groups of 10 or more children.
