This workshop has been cancelled. The phone that fits into the palm of your hand has endless photographic possibilities. In this workshop, students will learn photo-taking techniques and how to use apps to take professional quality photographs without purchasing expensive equipment! This workshop series has been cancelled. Composition is important whether you have a smart phone or an expensive digital camera. Each class in this series on composition starts at the Museum with brief instructions on an individual rule of composition. Having seen examples in the classroom, we venture outside to make images using this rule of composition, sometimes going as far as Alapocas Woods State Park. Returning to the Museum, photographers will share their images and discuss. The class is open to photographers of all experience levels, using any kind of camera including smart phones. This event has been postponed. Join us for classical music, savory appetizers, and cocktails as we celebrate two pioneering artists of the Brandywine Valley: Margo Allman and Helen Mason. For more than 50 years, these two artists have explored the infinite possibilities of abstract art while challenging traditional expectations. Members and their guests only.
