Glory of Stories
Glory of Stories introduces young visitors to art and the Museum through a story reading followed by an interactive tour of relevant works of art and a studio art project. This program encourages learning through discovery, exploration, and hands-on experiences. Ages 2 and up. Feb 22 Under and Over the Snow, Kate Messner Group tour reservations are required for groups of 10 or more children. First Fridays of the month. This noon-time lunch series on the first Friday of every month pairs an engaging 30-minute discussion about a work of art with a delicious lunch in the Thronson Café. Due to inclement weather, this event has been cancelled. In partnership with Hispanic American Association of Delaware Celebrate Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) with a labyrinth walk illuminated by tea lights and traditional Day of the Dead activities. There is no fee for this program, but donations are accepted to help maintain the Museum’s Labyrinth. Family Friendly.
