Meet the Artists from Impermanence: Mystery, Transformation, Light
Join us for Meet the Artists events on Sunday, June 24 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Thursday, July 19 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. where exhibiting artists will be in the gallery and welcome discussion and questions about their work. Impermanence: Mystery, Transformation, Light May 19 – August 5, 2018 This exhibition centers on impermanence, an essential tenet of Buddhism. Using drawings as symbols or metaphors for transitory life experiences, the 11 artists tell stories about lost innocence, fading memory, mortality, and the drawing process itself. Barbara Warden is the guest curator. Learn more.
