Docent Open House
Docents are volunteer tour guides and educators who are essential to fulfilling the Museum’s educational mission. They promote the enjoyment of art through leading interactive tours and offsite presentations for a range of visitors and by facilitating hands-on art lessons for schools.  Docents are an active community of Museum Members who train together annually, learn about art from experts, and build gallery teaching skills through practice. We are seeking friendly, outgoing, art-loving people with strong interpersonal skills to apply for the fall 2017 – spring 2018 training year.  We strive to form a docent corps that reflects the rich diversity...

Mother’s Day Weekend Fairy Tea
Celebrate moms and family with a magical Fairy Tea at the Museum. Taste tiny treats while visiting with fairies and making enchanted works of art together. Transform into a fancy fairy with face painting and dance like a fairy with dancers from the Delaware Arts Conservatory.  Hot tea, lemonade, mini desserts, and fruit salad will be served. Early registration is encouraged.  A limited number of tickets will be sold at the door.
