Join us for Delaware Art Museum’s family-friendly opening celebration for From Houdini to Hugo: The Art of Brian Selznick. Party guests will stroll back in time as the Museum is transformed into the grand concourse of a 20th-century Parisian train station inspired by Selznick’s award-winning children’s book, The Invention of Hugo Cabret.

Traditional station-style merchants such as a street performer, a fortune teller and flower shopkeeper will entertain. Refreshments reminiscent of a French café will be served. Sweet candy treats will be offered by Table at Brandywine. Enter a drawing to win travel for two by Amtrak from Wilmington to New York City.

Curator Mary Holahan will offer exhibition tours at 6:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. and Brian Selznick will be available for questions.
