Layered Abstraction: Margo Allman & Helen Mason Members Preview
Join us for classical music, savory appetizers, and cocktails as we celebrate two pioneering artists of the Brandywine Valley: Margo Allman and Helen Mason. For more than 50 years, these two artists have explored the infinite possibilities of abstract art while challenging traditional expectations.

About the Exhibition
On view March 21 – September 6, 2020, the exhibition includes Helen Mason’s jewelry forms from the 1970s through today, selections from her 1988 Delaware Art Museum exhibition, Form and Spirit, painting and ceramics dating back to the 1970s, and her recent sculptures in found rubber. Margo Allman’s works of art include her avant garde prints; sculptures in marble and wood, concrete, and synthetic fiber; her signature ovoidal paintings; and her most recent graphic drawings and paintings.
