Participate in a cultural exchange exploring both traditional and modern Korean culture and celebrating the Korean Thanksgiving, Chuseok. Enjoy Korean-inspired art activities, a photo booth, Korean snack sampling, TaeKwonDo demonstrations, hands-on activities, and much more. Artwork created by students from the Delaware Korean School will be on display and Korean food will be available for purchase. Recommended for all ages.

This family-friendly event will leave you saying Sarang-hae-yo Korea – I love Korea!’

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Korean-inspired art activities, K-pop booth, singing booth, art display by students from the Delaware Korean School, Korean snack sampling, personalized Hangul script demonstrations, and photobooth with props and Korean traditional clothing

11:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.

AM Performance:  K-Pop Dance by HARU K-pop dance group, Arirang ensemble, music and dance performances by students from the Delaware Korean School, Korean traditional dance by Chong-mee Kim, Samgomu (Three drum dance) by Korean School of Southern New Jersey, and TaeKwonDo demonstrations by Tiger Kicks

1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

PM Performance:  Samul-nori percussion by Samkyoung Lee & Sungrae Cho, Gayageum Performance by Eunyoung Lee, String quartet by Philadelphia Korean Musicians Association (PKMA), Big Drum by Hyunjin Cha Drum, Korean food cooking demonstration, and trivia challenges
