Grounds for Sculpture Bus Trip

Spend a glorious day at Grounds for Sculpture!

Located in Hamilton, New Jersey, Grounds for Sculpture is a forty-two acre sculpture park and arboretum on the former site of the New Jersey State Fairgrounds.  Featuring an evolving collection of superb contemporary outdoor sculptures and magnificently landscaped acres in which to stroll, this is the perfect spot for a day of art and enjoyment.

In addition to travel on a luxury motorcoach, the day includes a guided tour of the Museum and time for exploring on your own. For a special treat, enjoy lunch on-site at Rat’s Restaurant. Zagat-rated for top décor, Rat’s provides a relaxing escape with breath-taking views. Offerings include hand-crafted cocktails, extraordinary wines, and delicious fare.


Space is limited and must be reserved by May 5. Museum Members and their guests receive priority registration until April 21. Remaining seats will be made available to the public on that date. Registrations will be recorded in the order in which they are received. Payment must be made at time of registration. Reservation fee includes transportation, admission and tours, guide fees, lunch, tax, gratuity and event fee, light snack and wine on return trip, and the driver’s gratuity. 8:30 a.m. Bus departs from the Delaware Art Museum

10:30 a.m. Arrive at Grounds for Sculpture

11:00 a.m. Guided walking tour of exhibition

12:30 p.m. Lunch at Rats (3 course prix fixe lunch; see menu choices below)

2:30 p.m. Free time to explore

4:00 p.m. Bus departs from Grounds for Sculpture

5:30 p.m. Bus arrives at Delaware Art Museum (Return time is approximate and may be affected by traffic, weather, etc.)

First Course: Salad Verte (Vegan and GF) Bibb, Watercress, Shaved Radish, Haricot Vert, Fresh Herb, and Red Wine Vinaigrette

Entree: Three choices. Please choose one of the entrees below.
Seared Salmon, served with seasonal accompaniment
Roasted Lancaster Chicken, served with seasonal accompaniments
Vegan/Gluten Free Entree: Available upon request

Dessert: Chocolate Grand Marnier Mousse Cake with Chocolate Italian Buttercream and Raspberry Coulis
