Carol Arnott-Robbins, founder of NEWS4Women, will facilitate a panel discussion followed by a Q&A session. Topics will include career highlights, life stories, and hard-earned wisdom from three influential women. The three April panelists are:

Melody Phillips is Director of Operations for The Warehouse, a new teen center in northeast Wilmington that will open in April 2020. The Warehouse is part of a multi-million dollar community revitalization project, planned by REACH Riverside, offering comprehensive after-school opportunities for up to 700 teens. Melody serves as Chair of the Workforce Development Committee for REACH Riverside and is also Co-Founder and Board Chairwoman of I Am My Sister’s Keeper.

Latifa Ihsan Ali is a Muslim American fashion designer and entrepreneur who is passionate about helping women get active and keep modest. Her company, LiaWear Action, empowers Muslim women to pursue the activities they love. Latifa’s line of modest sportswear and hijab solutions encourage women to get out and run, jog, kick, bike, hike, swim, splash, dive, and dance their way to fitness.

Colleen Perry Keith is the new president of Goldey-Beacom College and the first woman to hold that position in the school’s 133-year history. Before coming to Delaware, Colleen served as president at Pfeiffer University in North Carolina and also at Spartanburg Methodist College in South Carolina. Her proven leadership and strong financial management were transformative at those institutions.

Bring your friends (including men!) to this fun and inspirational evening!
