2016: The Volta Family

Kaleidoscope Cove

This interactive installation— imagined by the Museum’s first Family-in-Residence, parents Ben and Eilish Volta and their two sons Milo and Thor—explored Howard Pyle’s work through a kaleidoscopic lens. The temporary installation featured a cascading paper garland waterfall and a curtain of paper gold coins, a kid-sized geometric treasure cove, and details of Pyle’s work patterned on the walls. Kaleidoscope Cove was on view through October 30, 2016.
