Art Camp

Check back later for Summer 2016 camp information!

The Delaware Art Museum’s summer program for children ages 6 – 12 provides a creative experience with professional instruction in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Young artists, divided into two groups, explore drawing, painting, ceramics, and more in the Bank of America Education Wing Studio as well as throughout the Museum’s galleries and Copeland Sculpture Garden. Camp is full-day from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Each session ends with a camper art show for family and friends.

Due to the popularity of the Museum’s camp program, all Summer Art Camp sessions require written or online registration and payment. A medical information form is also required. Registrations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Delaware Art Museum is pleased to offer grants for Summer Art Camp through the Red Apple Fund for Student Enrichment. Full funding for tuition will be awarded to those who receive a Summer Art Camp Grant. All children registering for camp are eligible for scholarships unless an applicant has received funding from the Red Apple Fund in the past six months. To apply, please complete a Red Apple Summer Art Camp Grant application available at along with this registration form and return both to the Museum by April 13, 2015. All applicants will be notified of their status between April 22 – 24, 2015.
