Director’s Circle

The Director’s Circle is a select level of Membership comprised of the Delaware Art Museum’s most distinguished patrons. If you join, your support will help protect and preserve the important history of Wilmington and this region, which includes the art of Wilmington-native Howard Pyle; America’s largest Pre-Raphaelite collection, assembled by Wilmington textile manufacturer Samuel Bancroft, Jr.; and the world’s largest art and archival collection of John Sloan, donated by his widow and longtime Wilmington resident Helen Farr Sloan.

Your philanthropic endeavor will also help the Delaware Art Museum enrich our community’s cultural life. The Museum hosts a broad variety of exciting exhibitions. Comprehensive educational programs and tours benefit the preschoolers, students, and teachers of the public and private schools in the region. And many artists of all skill levels discover their talents in our studio art classes. None of this is possible without the ongoing support of our patrons.
