Join Alfred Appel Curatorial Fellow Anna Wager (2016) as she discusses her research for The Cover Sells the Book: Transformations in Commercial Book Publishing, 1860–1920 and Todd Pattison, Senior Book Conservator at the Northeast Document Conservation Center, who will explore the evolution from simple book bindings to the elaborate commercial binding designs highlighted in the exhibition.
