Film Screening and Discussion – James E. Newton: A Life Story in Art

Newton B&WThis documentary is a first-person narrative of James Newton, Professor Emeritus of Black American Studies at the University of Delaware. It tells the history of this inspiring artist, author, educator, and activist, who is still using visual storytelling to power and shape positive social change. Following the film, producers from Serviam Media, Inc., will facilitate a discussion.  Registration is recommended, but not required.
