Art is After Dark: Artful Yoga
Bring your mat and practice yoga among art at the Museum! Join instructor Hunter Clarke-Fields for a relaxing session of yoga and learn more about zen works in the contemporary collection on a docent-led tour.
Session 1 (6:30 p.m. = moved indoors):
Flow from the Inside Out:
Experience Core-strength vinyasa, the most organic form of flowing yoga. In this all-levels class, Hunter will teach you how to move “from the inside-out,” for greater stability and ease in your yoga. This class is for those who want to move.
Session 2 (8:00 p.m. indoors):
Yoga with the Heart of Loving-Kindness:
Relax, revive, and become attuned to your most peaceful self with this gentle yoga practice. Hunter will incorporate loving-kindness practice into this stress-relieving yoga session. Let go of the tensions of the week and find your bliss.
About Hunter Clarke-Fields:
Hunter Clarke-Fields, MSAE, RYT, has over 18 years of experience in yoga practice and over 8 years experience teaching yoga. She has been a meditator and mindfulness practitioner for over a decade, and has the dharma name, “Calm breath of the heart.” She thrives on serving others through yoga, practicing her creative expression as an artist, and nurturing a mindful and joyful life with her family. The Museum comes alive on select Friday nights! Each night is unique with live music, special performances, Studio activities, films, gallery games, tours, and more! Plus, stroll the galleries and enjoy a cash bar with snacks in the Thronson Café. Free for Members, $8 in advance or $10 at the door for Non-Members.
You can also sign up for the popular Friday Evening Adult Workshops from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. in the Museum’s Studio. Supplies, beer, wine, and light snacks provided. Pre-registration is required. Must be 21 participate. $30 Members, $35 Non-Members. Click here for more information.
