Supply list—Introduction to Watercolor

Instructor: Wendy Hatch

1. Pad watercolor paper approx. 12” x 17” 
1. Strathmore spiral pad or Arches Watercolor block
2. watercolors
1. Set of tube paints (8-12 tubes)
2. Add to your “set” a tube Payers gray
3. Brushes
1. Short handle nylon “set” of 3-6 brushes.  Look for a mix of points and flats.
4. Palette 
1. Use a large white 12” x 18” vacume form palette or a white disposable plastic palet
5. Water containers or jar or plastic container
6. Pencil, eraser, few sheets of computer paper.
7. A bottle of Liquid mask (opt.)
8. Hair dryer with extension cord (optional)
