One-day workshops. 8 week classes (unless otherwise noted). Supplies provided.

Course Skill Level Key: See the symbol(s) at the end of each course description to determine the recommended skill level for students. Most classes are open to artists of all skill levels. Teenagers age 15 and up are eligible to register for adult classes.

Ceramic Dog Bowls

Make the perfect dog bowl for your four-legged friend! Students will form the basic bowl on the wheel and then add floppy ears, big eyes, and a wet nose before customizing the dish with colorful glazes.

Artist Studio for Homeschoolers

(Ages 8–12) Students will learn the fundamentals of art in the Museum’s studio. Basic drawing, painting, and sculpting will be explored with a focus on processes and techniques.

Hurray for Clay!

(Ages 6–9) During this fun afternoon children’s clay class, everyone will create wacky and beautiful objects by rolling, pinching, coiling, and painting—often laughing all the way!

Advancing Young Artists

(Ages 10–14) Using a variety of media, techniques, and subject matter, this class will teach the basic fundamentals of art and take student’s artistic skills to a new level. Young artists will be inspired and gain confidence in their artwork!

Artwise I

Saturdays, April 4 – May 16 (7 weeks)
10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
$145 Members, $170 Non-Members

(Ages 6–8) Using the Museum’s collection for inspiration, the basic fundamentals of art will be taught, developed, and practiced. The class will focus on drawing with additional painting and sculpting projects.

Artwise II

Saturdays, April 4 – May 16 (7 weeks)

(Ages 9–12) This class follows the curriculum described in Artwise I, but is geared toward older students.
