Friday Evening Workshops

Supplies, beer, wine, and light snacks provided. Must be 21 or older to participate.

Mix, mingle, and get a little messy in the Museum’s ceramics studio! Participants will experiment with clay and complete a functional piece of pottery that the Museum will glaze. No experience necessary.

Learn faux wood grain and faux marble techiniques to use in your home. Participants will watch these techniques demonstrated and complete a small box or picture frame to take home.


Trash to Treasure Earrings

Learn how to recycle olive oil or cookie tins into a set of one-of-a-kind earrings. Participants will cut out a section of ornate tin for the earring and use hand-wrapped wire and beads as finishing elements. Supplies provided but students are encouraged to bring in their favorite tin.


Flying Fish

This fun night will combine watercolor techniques with fish rubbings made from actual fish. Create underwater scenes by adding color and let your inner shark out by throwing painted fish onto watercolor paper for spontaneous and delightful results.
