Learn the ancient craft of weaving wire, which uses a loop-in-loop technique, to make lovely handmade chains. Students will incorporate beads and complete a woven wire bracelet in copper with a sterling silver clasp. Supplies provided.
Students will learn watercolor techniques to create a still lake with reflections, a woodland creek in motion, and rushing waterfalls. Some experience with watercolor is required. 30-minute lunch break.
This workshop will focus on concepts and techniques of painting with oils. Working from still life, students will learn how to mix colors and create volume by capturing light and color. Some supplies provided.

Explore three unique watercolor techniques in this one-day workshop. Students will use rice paper to create a batik-inspired work, experiment with underwater scenes by using salt to absorb and move paint, and use plastic wrap to create the appearance of jagged cliffs.
