Become a Docent

Do you have an interest in art? Do you enjoy meeting people? Expand your horizons while you teach adult and school groups in the Delaware Art Museum as a Docent Tour Guide.

The Museum is looking for people with enthusiasm, flexibility, professionalism, imagination, and a willingness to learn about art and exhibition themes. Experience in art, art history, public speaking, or education is very helpful but not required. Docent requirements include regular attendance at weekly meetings and being available at tour times.
