Crafts in Philadelphia

In anticipation of the Museum’s special exhibition Garry Knox Bennett: Call Me Chairmaker, guests will enjoy a day in Philadelphia learning about contemporary crafts. The morning will begin in Old City with special visits to Snyderman Galleries, which represents Garry Knox Bennett, and Wexler Galleries, which represents Tom Huang, a native of Wilmington who has a summer exhibition at the Delaware Center for Contemporary Arts. The afternoon will be spent at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, where guests will enjoy a tour of the contemporary crafts collection with Elisabeth Agro, Associate Curator of Modern and Contemporary Crafts and Decorative Arts.
