5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. for the Annual Members Meeting, a time-honored tradition that gives supporters a chance to hear about the Museum’s recent successes and exciting upcoming plans.

Art History Lectures
Art history lectures typically meet once a week for two to four weeks, allowing the audience to learn more about particular artists or art periods through the expertise of such speakers as Executive Director Danielle Rice, Museum curators, or guest lecturers.

The Delaware Art Museum joins other cultural institutions in Wilmington to offer free admission, special programs, and extended hours during the first Friday evening of the month.

Highlight and Exhibition tours are offered to the public on Saturdays and Sundays. Highlight tours cover a broad range of topics relating to the Museum's Permanent Collection, and Exhibition tours highlight current special exhibitions.

Several museums around the world offer free admission on this day in recognition of International Museum Day. Since we already waive admission on Sundays, we are celebrating with two special tours.

Outlooks: An Exhibition Series with Community Involvement Outlooks: An Exhibition Series with Community Involvement
The new Outlooks Exhibition Series offers exhibitions created by regional organizations, individuals, and community groups and hosted by the Delaware Art Museum, furthering the Museum’s mission “to offer an inclusive and essential community resource.”  Information and guidelines for the Outlooks Exhibition Series can be found here.

Several organizations and institutions in the community partnered with the Delaware Art Museum to help celebrate the return of the Pre-Raphaelite collection.

In celebration of Better Hearing and Speech Month, the Delaware Art Museum welcomes guests to a presentation by Executive Director Danielle Rice about the Museum’s collection. Computer Assisted Real Time Captioning (CART) will be provided.

Studio Art Classes Studio Art Program
The Delaware Art Museum offers a variety of studio art classes for adults, teens, and youth of all skill levels. In addition, art history lectures can broaden one’s horizon to multiple movements in the art world.
