The Delaware Art Museum can play host to a number of social affairs, such as networking events, cocktail parties, rehearsal dinners, weddings, and other celebrations.
This sophisticated social space is the Museum’s grand entrance hall. The high ceilings and dramatic arched windows make it an ideal space for elegant seated dinners or standing cocktail receptions. Fusco Grand Hall opens into our main gallery spaces and overlooks the Museum’s terrace and scenic Kentmere Parkway.

East Court’s contemporary feel and asymmetrical set up is perfect for unique cocktail parties and small dinners. The space adjoins galleries featuring our collection of British Pre-Raphaelite art, work by master illustrator Howard Pyle, and our renowned collection of American Illustration art. The space also has direct access to our signature exhibition space, which features changing exhibitions. The contemporary space is accented by the works Rome II and Alexander Calder’s Black Crescent.

This intimate space provides an up-close view of Persian Window, a permanent installation of Dale Chihuly’s breathtaking colorful glass sculptures. The bridge, which also overlooks Catherine A. Fusco Grand Hall, is the perfect spot for an intimate cocktail gathering or a small seated dinner. Access to special exhibition galleries on either side of the bridge is included with all rentals.

Our six-acre sculpture park leads guests from the parking lot to the Museum’s North Terrance. It features nine unique sculptures, a tranquil tree-lined path, and ample benches. Cocktail receptions and wedding ceremonies can be held in the garden.
The Museum’s elegant North Terrance is an ideal space for a cocktail hour or tented reception.
